I priced out the Pro-V last summer and was hoping to pick one up this year but ended up buying a building lot instead so plans got pushed back 2 years. Hopefully the 2020 model is just as nice as the 2018. Nice looking boat and great for all around fishing, I'm super jealous!
Fair enough!
Scoot the kayak over so we can get a better look at the new up north fish catching machine!!!
Get creative, you’ll find something laying around the garage that will work!
Snakester,
Put the boat on a trailer, and park it in your driveway, then fill it up with a garden hose like a big bathtub.
Then crawl underneath, and circle any leaky rivets with a sharpie.
Drain the water out, drill out the faulty rivets, and replace them. Stainless rivets work. Also use some 3M marine sealant and she’ll be as good as new!
A 2005 Glaston Fish and Ski. Between pleasure boating, fishing, and pulling the kids around, Ive racked up a bunch of hours. I average 150 hours per year on the water, so the boat has close to 2,000 hours on her. So far I’ve reupholstered all the seats, replaced the carpet twice, steering cables twice (the last time I upgraded and went with hydraulic), and repowered in 2010. I had a Merc. XR6. It was a good runner, but was carburetored, so it really guzzled gas.
I’d like a new boat, but every time I price a new one, I end up deciding that I’m good with what I have!
Went on a couple of build a boat websites and looks like around 50K for a 19 foot / 150 HP fish and ski with options.
Think I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing. I’m going to get a price from the Fountain of Youth for Boats for redoing the pinstripes and clearcoat.
