SnakeSter , its a fish and ski , hit 42 last night on Pine at 3/4 throttle, which was fast enough for me . Not having the windshield or the bubbles make it much easier to fish out of last night but a bit cold cruising back in lol. Its a 2004 and really great shape for her age . Night and day compared to my 15 foot Skeeter i had
Fishin Jimmy gets my vote (for what its worth) for most original. This is a fun topic because EVERYONE is so proud of their boat. I have posted a couple of boats (ships) that have gone by me while I am fishing on Minnetonka.
In 2014 I gave up $700 for a 1978 Glastron 16' tri-hull , an 85HP Johnson and a shoreland'r trailer. For 5 years I have used it every Friday and Monday from the beginning of April til Minnetonka Ice's over. I have put a couple of hundred $ into power packs and spark plugs, but I think I got the best fishing boat a $1000 can buy. I think it cost me about $7.15 every time I used it until now. Lots of people that are around Spring Park bay might recognize the truck and/or boat.
Just picked up a 2020 Lund 1650 Angler with the 50HP mercury 4 stroke, Terrova trolling motor with ipilot and spot lock. Got it rigged with 2 locators, 1 is a helix 5, and a minnkota electric anchor.....getting too old to pull on those ropes !!!
Got it decked out that way I wanted, probably be the last boat I buy !!
