Just got home from South Dakota picking up this 1998 Lund with a 115 Mercury. Bought it from a friend of mine. Can't wait to get it on the water.

So picked this 16 footer to turn into my duck/river/backwater huntimg boat. Got for a good price but it was sadly taken care of. Floor was rotten motor hadnt been run in 6 yrs. Got the motor running like a swiss watch. Pulled floor out surprise 7 busted floor stringers got them all tig welded up. So good to go there. So now sanding off the house paint now. Going to spray inside with gator hide, then paint outside in camo ordered oem stencel kit. Had an old minn kota that im gonna turn head around and turn that into a bow mount. Got a marcom cheap on ebay. What im trying to do is see if i can build a "nice 16 ft use anywhere" for under 2 grand. Its not gonna be a lund, but i wanna see if i can build a boat that is good at alotta things its not gonna be great at anyone thing but it should be good at many. Fun project so far.

Currently selling this boat to get a bigger boat but I have used this one for fishing,  bowfishing and duck hunting for the last 10 years. Built my own surface drive mud motor for it too.

2005 Triton 215x.   21.5foot.    2006 225 mercury optimax. And 9.9 four stroke kicker.   Love this boat.   Handles big water and rides like a dream.   I snapped this pic today as i got it outta garage to chase walleyes on the river in the snow.

Not a new boat, just new to me, Sea Nymph BT165 Backtroller with a 40 Mariner Magnum.  Bought it all outfitted with foot controlled trolling motor, 2 locators, 2 anchors, 2 covers, 1 musky net, 4 seats...pretty much something that I can fish in comfort compared to my previous boat of a 14' row boat with a 10 HP Merc.

The previous owner took very good care of the boat, runs out nice, hits about 32 MPH with 2 people. Can still get in the shallow water if need be.
