Live just down river and only picked up 2 shorts off a wing dam infront of my house. Water is pretty high and moving at a decent speed

Has anyone fished warm water discharge yet? Usually start fishing there earlier in the year when the water is cold in previous years and did alright. Can't wait to get out and do some fishing for those illusive eyes on the rock Cool

It is not too early to start now. The big run I would say will be atleast a month from now. I usually catch em best post-spawn as they run back down river which is mid to end of April.

If I was you I would put some time in on Whitewater lake or Rice lake. Both of them have pike, bass, and decent panfish. Whitewater even has walleyes. The lake isnt very big and you can just cruise the shorelines and catch various species.

thanks for the info. I live in whitewater and am having trouble finding lakes to fish on that are not too far away does anyone know of any. I know it sounds dumb but I really don't know. I am from Fond du Lac origionally so i go up there when i get the chance.
