Thanks guys! Well my father is a bit archaic himself....so they might get along well! Hahaha!! I will pass along the info. More than anything my dad just needs some time away. He's had a rough few years ..........Hoping he gets a few grouse and woodcock, catches a fish or two, and relaxes and de stresses some. Thanks for the replys.

If he's fishing with one of the resort boats he'll be able to go quite a few miles upstream and maybe 3/4 of a mile down, there's rapids just before Sugarbush road that he'll need to stay above unless he has a vehicle downstream to pick it up. Smallmouth and pike are abundant, not much for walleyes, there's a few muskies around too. I would not advise asking for fishing advice from the proprietor of the resort. I like Rich but his views on fishing are a bit archaic.

Wojcieszak's is on the South Fork, which eventually crosses Hwy 13 just south of Fifield. The North Fork passes through PF and has a series of dams and small flowages from just northeast of town and below. The South Fork is smaller and flows naturally. Both can have good fishing, but the South Fork is tough to fish unless doing a float trip from one access point to the next. The same can be said of the North Fork if above the Upper Park Falls Flowage.

Below the dam on the south side of town as u enter on hwy 13 has some small mouth usually. Heard of muskie being their as well. I'm sure walleyes would be there as well. Have only fished there from shore. Going out of town to the north can be good fishing if u can find the small humps of rock. Haven't fished up to the north myself but my uncle lives right on the river and has caught muskie and small mouth from his dock.

My dad is staying at Wojcieszak flambeau resort next week for some small game/grouse hunting and may fish too. He plans to just use a camp boat and a small motor and trolling motor. He's never fished the flambeau before. Any advice on where to start.....what to fish for.....any into would be appreciated. He doesn't really care what he catches, but walleye and smallmouth would probably be preferred.

Heading up from the Windy City to fish this body of water for the first time.

How's the action been on the Eyeballs, smallies ?

Anybody fishing lately? Water temps? Dam action?

Any hazards I should be cautious of?

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance for your post responses.

B Z I lived in park falls from 94-2000back then about 2-3 weeks after the opening weekend, smallies and walleyes were easy pickins from shore, between the dam and hwy. 13 over pass,i,d take my 2 boys down there, I,d use floating jigheads with a minnow for them, and cast jigs with minnows or twister tails,i was usually to busy takin fish off the kids hooks to get much jigging tho,, they nailed those floaters all day!,, but I,d catch bigger smallies and walleyes castin,, and even got a few bonus muskies, we realeased everything , but hope this helps and goodluck!
