Hey guys. I'll be up in Eau Claire for work next week and am hopping to ice fishing after dark. Anyone willing to share some tips? Depth or type of structure to look for on a map would be great. I'll be staying at a hotel so it will all be catch and release. Thanks

Phil

Why yes, I did make it out there and pulled two shacks out. What I didn’t do is try to drive up to the dam.

Yes. Red full size pickup. Pictures on local news website and facebook. Heard it was an older veteran Altoona fisherman. Heard he was headed for the channel down by the dam. Top third of truck above the ice so maybe closer to that North landing.

I have my permanent shack on a lake in rusk co. I was going to move it Friday ..  hooked up to my shack... Drilled holes in twenty foot intervals to my destination. Got half way there. Drilled another hole......8"!!  theres 13" everywhere else.... It's that easy. You know my truck and shack are still on top. And I am dry. Plus no huge fine for being a dumb ass. I have cought 18 walleye in the past 2 days nothing huge but decent fish.. 19" is the biggest so far. Many 12"-15". Jugging minnows.. tight to bottom. Be safe stay dry and have fun.
