My high school ice fishing team participated in many ways. First thanks to Top Gun Charters. Nolan is always willing to help my students get to where the fish are. The kids appreciate it. We had several tickets in the hunt but missed out on the 0s and 5s. Fun to think that if you would go and register that fish right away or an hour earlier or if it drys out etc what difference that makes. Our team was in charge of cleaning the donated fish. We had a huge crew of students and dads, some of which never really cleaned fish before.....well they know how to now! 15 to our crew and we cleaned for 6 hours total between the two days. The fish were donated to the Christine Ann domestic abuse shelter in Oshkosh and to the Family Center in Wisconsin Rapids. All totaled there were over 150 packages of fish donated to this very worthy cause. Also thanks to Doug of Wolf River Resort for taking fish to the senior center in Winneconnee. Thanks to the Battle On Bago for the opportunity to help as well as their continued support of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association (WIFA) which is the high school ice fishing circuit.

Hey fishballs, thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it. Open water will be here soon. Can't wait. Maybe I'll see you on the Wolf. Feel free to give me a call for a fishing report. If your going to the Milwaukee sport show, stop by booth #613 and say hello. If your interested in a trophy walleye trip have a look on the Hot Deals & Discount page under the Milwaukee sport show thread. April 10-17, I will be fishing Green Bay tributaries. If anyone wants one of the trips, I suggest you book it soon. Reduced rates for a great trip.

Really?? Hmmmm...5500+ fish registered. What would be the point of compiling and listing each and every one of them? Just so folks can see their names on the web?? Wink
