Angling has picked up on the interior rivers as they recede. There have been reports of anglers catching crappie and bluegill on the surrounding Black Hawk County area lakes. North Prairie Lake was stocked with rainbow trout this past Saturday, April 20th.

Rainbow Trout - Good: Try casting and retrieving flashy lures or jigs with tinsel for some good trout action. Also try fishing a piece of worm or waxworm under a slip bobber.
