South Dakota....last week.

TBoldt, They do look similar. Remi is a lab, golden retriever mix. I got her from a breeder in Cascade. Out again today and she is really coming along.

This is Chip at 8wks old. Now 7yrs later and an added 100lbs. If pheasants were coated in peanut butter he would be an even better hunter.

That dog won't hunt. He went for a walk in the woods with my daughter and got stuck to a cockle burr plant. How embarrassing.

Well not a hunting dog(maybe he think's so for Red Squirrel's), but Coco is a 11 year old Dachshund and we've offered a wounded deer and black bear recovery service here in Northwest Wisconsin for the past 6 season's. He doe's a awesome job tracking and has a lot of recovery's so far.

Birdboy- Sorry to see the news about Lucy.. Always difficult to lose one of our good buddies.. Hope you can find some solace that Lucy was able to hunt this past fall at the age of 12.. I am sure you will always remember some of her last flushes and cherish the great times you shared in the field..  

Very sorry Birdboy. 

Had to put our Lucy down on Sunday. Cancer. Everywhere in her abdomen and no symptoms until Saturday. This was and especially tough loss. She was an incredible companion and hunting partner for more than 12 years. Got a pic with her last Iron County grouse in October. She was the best.
