I raised them for a few years before we moved. I liked to have sorgham in the pen with them. I got the feed from the local feed mill. Main thing is make the bottom of the pen 2-3 feet up chicken wire then the rest can me mesh. I bought my mesh on ebay. Very resonable priced. I would encourage having some type of building for the pheasants not only for protection from the weather for the birds but also to keep their food dry. If this is something your going to do for several years the building will pay for itself. If your going to keep them over winter it would be a must as well. Good luck I miss having them around. If you let them go they will come back and any wild ones around you will be seen outside the pen.
