Lifetime Sportsman Licenses

I was reading stuff"lurking on T Man earlier today and there were guys talking about buying lifetime sportsman licenses for themselves and their young children, like 3 yr. olds.If I remember right they were saying it cost like $413 dollars,it even included trapping.Considering that that is not even 5 yrs. worth of Wi. licenses,that is one heckuva bargain.I wonder why Wi. don't have anything like that?

From what they were saying as lomg as you lived in Minn.one full year you could buy that license and even if you moved out of state it was still good,but you had to get it reprinted every year.I haven't joined tman yet,I gave up trapping years ago due to a divorce and my trapping partner turning into a backstabber.I still very much support trapping though and enjoy reading some of the stuff on T man.Brings back warm and fuzzy memories of falling in rat trapping on a balmy 30 degree day in Nov.and the joy of adjusting a 220 just so and how swell it felt wrapped on my fingers.

How do you think it works if you move out of the state? Regardless, I'd purchase a lifetime patron if it would be offered. BTW I'm "Aquaculture" on trapperman
