My dog recently started playing with her own poop. She picks it up and flips it around, chews on it and rolls on it. She is 2 1/2 years old and has never done this before. Yes I do pick up her poop but she always seems to find some. Besides being absolutly grose what are the health issues I should be worried about? Also how do I stop this imediatly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

It sounds to me like she may want a toy to play with outside or you to play with her outside. The best solution you are already doing and that is picking up the piles as quickly as you can. You also may have a "green dog" that is into recycling!! (just kidding but I just had to say it!) I am also aware if you place pineapple in your dog's food they will not eat their own poop.
