String stop for Mathews Dxt
5/14/12 @ 11:00 AM
I just picked up a 2010 DXT over the weekend. Looking for some advice on what the best string stop to add to it is? Everything I have seen or read looks like my best options are the front mounting dead end or the Hi Tek dxt model, however I'm open to other suggestions. Anyone have any experience with these that can provide recommendations? Also, is it worth it to add on, is there a very noticeable difference in noise, hand shock, etc? Thanks in advance.

I think having the string stop on does make a big difference in the feel of the bow after you shoot. I have a monster mr6 and a z7 and I have shot them both without the deadend string stop and I noticed a louder noise and the vibration was there in my wrist. Im not a pro by any means but thats my 2 sense. I would tell you to goto a pro shop and shoot with and without one on and see if you notice the difference. Not sure were you live but if you live around dane county I can recommend a couple of shops! goodluck
