Can anyone give me some tips on finding some northerns this time of year in poygan? Im taking my 11 yr yr old this aft and he hasnt ever caught a decent fighter. Lots of walleyes and panfish, but not a 24 or bigger northern. Where might they be relating now, depth? structure? Also are there a decent population of LM bass in poygan?

Fished from 7-10:30am pulling cranks and rigs in the hole. Bite was pretty slow today, only got 2 walleyes and a sheepshead. Walleyes were 18.25" and 15.5". Lake was like glass all morning, definitely didn't help. Really didn't see a lot of action in the other boats either. Switched to bass and got 1 Lg Bass, 17". Called it a day at 11:30. No matter what it was still a great day to be on the water. Good luck fishing.
