went out last night caught 5 crappie. the biggest was 9 inches and we caught about 60 gills. no keepers.

Bad idea to leave that much equipment in a ice shack on a lake,it,s kinda like wiping your butt before you poop,sooner or later someone will break in.My son lives close to the lake i'll talk to him and see if hes heard of any equipment talk from other kids.

someone broke into my shack either yesterday night or the night before. stole $500 worth of stuff. in anybody hears anything let me know. they stole an auger, mr.buddy heater, propane tank, propane lantern and some other stuff

i here the bass are hitting pritty` good on lily i fished it with my dad alot. we use to catch big northern and bass. it is a small lake and cant take much pressure. tight lines gater slayer

saw a few people out thurs. afternoon in middle of lake. "nuts". I would like to try and stress the point of catch and release on this little 88 acre lake! this lake has not been stocked since 1999. the fish that are in there is it. i have been watching people taking home some decent size bass and northerns this year. i have been fishing this lake my entire life and have watched it develop over the years. i have been catching the same fish in the same spot 4ever, and have seen them grow every year. so lets all work together and keep some decent fish out there. throw the big ones back and maybe we will have some good pan fishin out there again someday. i am not trying to jump anyone, just want to see this lake survive. (have not seen many small gamefish, which tells me they are not reproducing very well )Good Luck to all, and we will see ya out there. CATCH AND RELEASE!!!

Fished with my dad from about five until nine p.m.. Caught quite a few tiny gills and small crappies. We caught about two dozen gills and probably 12 or 15 crappies between the two of us. Not a keeper in the bunch! Waxies on glow in the dark jigs. Fish were steady for about the first hour and slowly declined as the night went on so we called it quits. Didn't bother with tip-ups. Must be a foot of snow on the ice.

Fished tonight from about five o' clock until seven. Caught about a dozen small crappies (lost probably five or six at the hole) and two bullheads. Not too bad for two hours of fishing. Set up in the middle of the lake, in about 17 foot of water and before I closed the bail on my first line in, I had one on a wax worm with a small glow in the dark jig. Lost the fish at the hole, probably the biggest crappie I hooked all night, maybe 9 or 10 inches. Only one fishing on the entire lake. Even the dog had fun. Tried red spikes also, but the fish wanted none of it. The glow in the dark Swedish pimple was working good, if you like bullheads.

hey worms...turn your messenger on. Me and my buddy stopped out by you guys that night. I bought one of those "cube" shantys today. Pretty nice for $100. You guys want to hook up some night let me know. I think I'm going to get out here tomorow night and try in the middle and move around with the vex for some of the bigger crappies. Will post results/pictures if anything happens. Message me...let me know where the fish are!
