wife and i tried this lake for the first time. not impressed. used leeches, minnows, and spinners. caught about 5 bass and about a dozen gills. nothing over 4 inches. very disappointing. probably be my first and last time on this lake.

Silver Lake Marinas fishing derby is THIS Saturday from 4-2........check out the info on the events page! CHEATERS STAY HOME.......I have read way too many reports and heard of way too much cheating at tournaments this year! We will be checking all equipment at registration and throughout the day and have many employees on the ice watching for cheaters. This is supposed to be a fun event so please lets keep it that way! The locals going to get mad. let me stress catch and releases there not a bad spot in the lake but north east corner seems to be better proven yesterday at turny. Right now if your going out look for the snow mobile jump had vary good week over there. I fished other side of lake to get away from the party but did not work.going to move shack to Center lake to day (I LOVE MY WIFE)she is letting me go fishing on valentines day HHHHHAAAAA. the big pike not from lily things to come. up north there A

the derby was a good time not much fish cought in our group but my girlfriends son took 2nd place bass way to go zackery.!!!!!!!

There is a solid 12 inches ben driving on it all week not to say 50+ trucks going to be good with all the snow!!! I was going to unload then drive my and friends trucks to south shore. last week end we had 5 trucks together on the old pad and there was water coming out the fishing holes (NOT GOOD)I seen in the past people would park in front of boat launch like parking lot NOT GOOD DEEP!!!!! and just north there is a drainage pipe with open water careful I suggest parking right on south shore or any shore fore that mater the bar LILY LAKE LOUNGE on JI has some parking at bar and some at the hotel and some across the street from bar but you will need 4+4 in farm field. GOING TO BE GOOD TIME this is my favorite derby come on out bring the kids. o ya if some one could plow the boat landing that wood be to cooooool
