We were fishing here a couple days this week. One day we caught several small walleye, sheephead and bullheads and yesterday we caught nothing, but there were lots of bites for us.

No "action" aside from the 6-8 people in one party that were fishing together and had their van doors open with dance music blaring.

We didn't fish that long, but left with nothing. I guess the fish must not have gotten the invite to the party.

Ok. My boyfriend and I went to the dam today on the side away from the bar and we caught NOTHING. We tried everything short of throwing the tacklebox in, meanwhile, the guys next to us were catching walleye, panfish and northerns like crazy! 3 northerns in about 2 hours. 22" and the just short of keepers. The one had been caught at one point as he had a hook in his head.

What a bunch of garbage! Well, we shall try again. Seems like things are picking up. It was busy. Angry

Swung by Indianford today with a few of my friends to do some catfish fishing. The water is unbelievable high. We fished for about two hours caught two small bullheads, a Drum and a real small Dink. Also had a Big Cat (maybe a carp) on but it busted off. Using redworms on the bottom and the Walleye was caught with a spinner. It's surreal to think that we were catching fish in an area where I was standing just two weeks before hand. We literally caught the Drum two or three feet away from the picnic table.

Me & a buddy went up there to fish for eyes' and pike, but I couldn't believe in the drop in temperature from Rkfd to Indianford! It was around 40 today in Rockford, but it was really cold in the Janesville area...the bites were next to nil, so i'm going to try back in about a week, good luck to everyone!

Rancor, The spillway characteristics have changed since they repaired the gate 2-3 years ago when they hauled in gravel and rocks to build a road from the powerhouse to the gate on the opposite side. the deepest part of the spillway was just ahead of the island to the east of the powerhouse and was 12'-14' deep. The rest is closer to 4'-7'. I could give you more info if you message me.
