Had a couple of good days fishing for cats north of town. Fished friday and sunday and did good both days. Found 5-9 lb. cats stacked in one particular snag, catching 5 from this one on friday and 3 on sunday. Found a few here and there in other areas. Glad I stopped to try the one snag as I usually bypass that one. Might even try there for flats one evening once the water cools down to 60's. All caught on Sonny's original. Anyway tight lines all!!

Was wondering if anyone has been getting any kitties now that the water is dropping velocity and temp. I usually fish just up from town. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. You can message me if you want.

Fished from the downtown launch to Patten's Marine. Caught half a dozen white bass. Then used one for cut bait and went for cats. Had a big one on and lost it at the b6oat. Also got a 16" flatty and a 5lb channel.

Sorry for the late report. Went to the Rock River on Sunday in search for of some kitty kats. Three guys in a boat for about 5 hrs, only one cat to show for it. A hard fighting 5 lber. was caught by Madd Dog. Numerous bites a couple snapped lines and an overall nice day. The 5 lb cat was released, but he will be fished for again this coming weekend. Looking forward to catching my first catfish. Water temps very warm at just about 80 degress the whole time out there and the sun was hot.

Did well catching sheephead today. found them in a hole of 15fow down from 10fow. nightcrawlers about 12 inches behind a 1oz sinker caught 4 in about an hour - the wife missed a few more on top of that(new to fishing)

was going to try for white bass but forgot the streamers at home. did try a 3 way rig with a fathead on a floating jig without success. all in all a fun day

message me for flies. I tie and sell white bass flies. I also make bass and trout flies too.

Anyways, how's the white bass biting now? Went to Omro and got a cooler, might head out to Jefferson to do some CPR, unless I get into some legal walleye's =)

Hey SLIP...

They do sell them at some of the local bait shops but yes we do tie our own and they work a lot better than the ones at the bait store. Another way you can get a hold of some is ask some of the shore fishermans. Some of them carry hundreds on them and will gladly sell some to you. Good luck!

Usually people tie these flies themselves. Rarely do I see them being sold in stores, but if they are they usually don't work as well as the ones you've tied yourself.

Fished yesterday 6-2:30 from boat and caught 75 whites. All caught on streamer flies. Purple, green and red were the best colors but did catch some on just about every color we had. Tried jigs with no luck. Shore fisherman catching some too on flies and minnow.
