Welcome to Brad’s Guide Service Hello my name is Brad Wirt, the owner and operator of Brad's Guide Service. I am a licensed and fully insured guide in central Wisconsin. I grew up in a small town right on the Wisconsin River and have fished the river most of my life, therefore these are the waters I love and specialize in most. I will give you an experience that you won't forget with either a half or full days fishing trip on the scenic Wisconsin River.

I fish for all species including, Small Mouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Rough fish, and my favorite, the mighty Muskellunge. I grew up fishing the rivers and lakes of Central and Northern Wisconsin with my family and now enjoy passing the knowledge of those waters to my clients and friends.

My passion is fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and the excitement of catching fish. I have years of experience and knowledge of current weather patterns and seasonal changes and would share this with my clients.

My goal while fishing is to pass my knowledge and enjoyment to my clients, I want to have fun and catch fish but I also want you to know the Why, What, and Where's of it all as well.

I am a strong believer of catch and release on Muskellunge, Small Mouth Bass, and the large female Walleye. I feel that it is the sportsman responsibility to protect the resource, but I also like to take some eaters as well.

I do have a favorite type of fishing. The last few years I have found that there is nothing more exciting seeing a youngster catch a big Musky. Using live bait, I have had kids as young as 6 years old hook and land muskies by themselves.

About Your Fishing Trip

I provide equipment for all species of fish. The latest quality rods and reels are updated yearly in my boat. You will always have the use of the same equipment that I use day in and day out. I have a 16 foot Mirrocraft Jon boat powered by Yamaha 40 hp jet which is ideal for navigating the shallow waters of the Wisconsin River. I also have a Ranger 619 powered by a 200 HP Yamaha for larger bodies of water.
