Welcome To Top Gun Guide Service! I'm Nolan Koepp, a full time charter captain and fishing guide for Top Gun Guide Service.
We are a multi-species guide service. However, we specialize in Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Trout, Salmon, and Musky. We fish on a daily basis so we are always on the hottest bite for that time of season. Every trip with us is an experience. We will teach you how to catch fish using the latest tackle, presentations and techniques. You can be sure that we'll be able to satisfy whatever type of fishing you're looking to do. - Walleye (March-April)
Fox River (De Pere), Menominee River, Bay of Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay
Our walleye season starts on the world famous Fox River each year in mid March. Millions of Green Bay walleyes swim up the Fox River each spring to spawn and are very hungry along the way. March is the best time to have the catch of a lifetime, with 100 fish days and 28-33 inch walleyes being very common. Soon after the Fox run gets under way, the Menominee River and Sturgeon Bay opens up. This is by far the best chance at a trophy sized walleye throughout the entire year. The last few springs, multi-8-13 lb walleye days were very common. Day and night trips are available.
May Smallmouth & Walleye
Bay of Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay
The first Saturday of May is the Bass opener and the walleye limit goes from 1 to 5. Fifty plus smallmouth days with fish up to 6 lbs and 28-33 inch walleye are common. In-Fisherman Magazine rates Green Bay as one of the top 10 places in the world for a trophy smallmouth. This makes a great combo trip for full day trips.

- Green Bay Musky & Walleye (Sept.-Nov.)
If it is musky you are after you have come to the right place. Starting mid September, musky fishing in Green Bay has reached world class fishing status in recent years. Many experts feel the next state record will be caught in the waters of Green Bay or the Fox River. This is a trolling bite 1- 5 fish days are very common. If you have never caught a musky this is the best and easiest way to do it. Every year there are numerous 50β+ musky caught and you have the opportunity to catch a fish of a lifetime. - Ice Fishing (Dec.-Mar.)
Bay of Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay, Winnebago System, Poygan, Petenwell, Fox Lake, Wolf River, Fox River
There comes a time of year when itβs time to put away the boat and tackle a new adventure. The fishing at this time of the year can be spectacular. We will show you the most productive ways to set up and catch fish during this season. As a bonus, we prepare a great shore lunch on the ice to make the trip complete. If you have never ice fished, you deserve to give yourself a winter treat!
- Sturgeon Bay limits of white fish with walleyes in the AM/PM.
- Green Bay limits of walleye the best walleye jig bite in Wisconsin
- Winnebago System walleye perch and white bass. Wolf River limits of walleye in Dec and great pike fishing all year round.
- I have lots of steady action lakes for gills, perch, pike and bass. Just ask. Also night crappie trips available.
