My name is Captain Mark Cassidy of Cast-A-way Charters, owned and operated by Cast-n-Away LLC. Captain Mark Cassidy of Cast-A-Way Charters in West Bend, WI I have twenty years of fishing experience on the great lakes and open water.

I hope my skill of fishing will give you a fishing experience that you’ll enjoy and remember for a long time.

I am based out of West Bend, Wisconsin and we charter fishing services around Door County, Green Bay, Port Washington, Lake Winnebago, and Lake Petenwell.

About My Fishing

As an Experienced Guide:
I offer great lakes fishing for Salmon and Trout. I also offer trophy Walleye fishing, open water and ice northern Pike, Crappie, White Bass, or Whitefish both open water and ice fishing.

Winter Fishing

(Late December-Late March)
Fishing is available in Green Bay, Door County, Lake Winnebago, and Lake Petenwell. Walleyes, Crappies, Northern Pike, White fish, and White Bass will be targeted.

*$50 deposit is required, and will be returned due to bad weather

Spring Fishing

(April-May)
Trophy Walleye begins in April - May. We’ll fish Green Bay, Wisconsin & the Door County area. Fish 28-31 inches are common. Eater size fish 15-25 inches. Day and night trips are available.

Boat Used

I use a 21 foot Wellcraft center console 150 HP Evinrude 9.9 Kicker equipped with the latest color electronics, color GPS and 4 electric Big Jon Downriggers and a Marine Radio. All safety equipment is fully insured; USCG approved and has a Charter Captain's license. All tackle is provided.

Summer Fishing

(May-September)
We’ll start at the beautiful port of Port Washington, Wisconsin. It ranks as one of the top spots for King Salmon fishing. It starts with May and June Coho, and King Salmon with a mix of Brown and Rainbow Trout.

July August and September, the fish begin to bulk in size and that’s when you’ll have a chance at some giant King Salmon. As a licensed Captain, Cast-A-Way Charters will work hard to make your fishing trip fun exciting and to have a safe enjoyable trip. Your safety is my first concern.

We bag and clean your catch and offer a no fish no pay guarantee.

Summer Walleye

(June-July) on Lake Winnebago
Good eater size 15-20 inchers are common. 20-27 inchers are starting to show more often and an occasional bigger fish.
