Silver King Charters

As Captain I have three goals to meet for each trip. First is safety and this is the most important to the crew and myself. Second is that you have an enjoyable experience and finally, that you catch fish. I believe that you should get what you pay for so I offer a NO FISH- NO PAY policy. Because of my 20 yrs experience both fishing and boating on Lake Michigan, I believe these goals will be met on each charter. I want you to come back and let your family and friends know what a good time charter fishing is with Silver King Charters.

All equipment is provided. A first mate works all charters and all fish are cleaned and bagged at the end of the trip. All first mates have over 10 yrs fishing and boating experience on Lake Michigan.

What To Bring:

• Dress for the weather. You can call a day in advance and I will advise you on what to bring.
• Wear soft-soled shoes.
• Sun Tan Lotion and Sunglasses.
• Camera or Video recorder
• Cooler for your catch. Ice can be purchased at the marina.
• Beverages and food. I have storage for both and can keep beverages cool.
• No hard liquor or Drugs!
• Wisconsin fishing license and Salmon/Trout Stamp. These can be purchased at the boat.

Note: Some people are prone to seasickness, so please contact your pharmacist about remedies such as Dramamine or pressure bracelets. It helps to get a good night sleep and eat breakfast.

About The Captain
We are fully licensed by the United States Coast Guard and the State of Wisconsin and fully insured for commercial operation.

I have over 20 years boating and fishing experience on Lake Michigan. I have been fishing Lake Michigan Salmon since 1977 when I started shore fishing. I have a true passion for Salmon fishing and this will show when you charter the Silver King. I will always work to continually adjust to the Salmon during a trip and put fish in the boat. Remember NO FISH- NO PAY. All my first mates have over 10 years experience and are as driven as myself. Having an experienced first mate will make your trip enjoyable and lead to more Salmon.

Boat, Equipment & Tackle
You will fish aboard a 2004 24’ Wellcraft designed for the big waters of Lake Michigan. The boat is powered by a reliable 225 hp four stroke Yamaha outboard. The motor is extremely quiet while fishing and has low emissions. This will allow you to smell the fresh air and not the exhaust.

My crew and I use this boat to tournament fish. We only use the best and most updated equipment for serious Salmon fishing. All reels have high-end drag systems from Shimano and Okuma. I have a large selection of flies, dodgers, flashers, plugs and spoons to fish Salmon. This means you will not go home without a fish because I didn’t have the hot bait.

Charter Fishing Rates

Standard Packages: 5 hour trip or limit 1 PERSON $250 2-3 PERSONS $325 4 PERSONS $400	Full day Charters: 8 hours or limit 2-3 PERSONS $500 4 PERSONS $600

Charters are limited to 3 adults. For comfortable 4 person charters, the fourth person should be a young adult.

Morning charters leave at 5:00AM and evening charters at 3:30PM to provide the best fishing. Though Charters can be arranged to leave the dock to suit your needs.

Charters can be booked seven days a week for evenings and Friday-Sunday for morning trips.

Multiple boats can be arranged for larger groups.
