ADVENTURES
A great fishing adventure...
Our Resort was built for those who want a Canadian Northwoods Vacation. Miles of water and forests are just outside our doorstep. Island studded waters surround us at Pine Sunset Lodge, accessible by boat, aircraft or car. Dinorwic and Wabigoon Lakes wind in and out among the islands for some twenty miles each way. Fishing action is best for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, muskie, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. We have guide services, upon request, to take you to the fishing "hot spots" or use one of our six boat caches to access our neighboring lakes.

The Ministry of Natural Resources did a survey in 2001 and tagged a total of 603 Walleye in Dinorwic Lake. Out of 603 tagged fish nearly 12% have been over 10 lb. with the biggest being 17.1 lb.

LODGING
Modern Cottages
We have one, two and three bedroom cottages and a bunkhouse that sleeps 16 people. All have a great view of the sunset as you relax in the evening after a hard day of fishing.

All cottages are heated and have modern bathrooms with showers, and flush toilets. Kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee makere, cooking and eating utensils. We ask that you bring your sleeping bag, bath and dish towels.

Our RV and campsites have full hook-up and are situated with a great view of the lake. A shower room is also available in the lodge.

Use the fish cleaning house to clean your fish, and there are two big freezers to store your take home catch. It is recommended that you freeze your fish in a clear wrap. We ask that you bring your own zip-lock bags.

For those who choose to bring their own boats, we have two boat ramps for your convenience.

The Lake
Dinorwic Lake is over 18,000 acres of island studded water, stretching over 20 miles in length.

Our camp sets on a peninsula with 3 ½ miles of shoreline and 148 acres to explore.

For the adventurous we also have boats on 6 cache Lakes for Lake Trout, Walleye, Northern Pike and Muskie. We can also arrange for a one day fly in trip to a remote lake.
