Walleye Fishing on Lake Gogebic

Your host and guide Captain Tim Long lives in the Western Upper Peninsula near the small town of Bergland, Michigan. Bergland is located on the northeast end of Lake Gogebic at Hwy M-28 and M-64. Tim & wife Sarah also own The Timbers Resort located on the north end of Lake Gogebic in Bergland.

Lake Gogebic's 13,380 acres of prime fishing water teem with walleye, northern, smallmouth bass, bluegill, jumbo perch, sunfish and more, providing catches for the novice and challenges for the veteran angler. Lake Gogebic is a four-season vacation gem that - for all its attractions - retains the peaceful atmosphere of a small Northwoods community, untroubled by traffic and crowds.

FLW Tournament Angler and guide for the past 12 years, U.S.C.G. licensed Captain Tim Long, has spent many years fishing various bodies of water. With his knowledge of techniques and location needed to fish for Walleye, you can be confident that Eyes-Guy Guide Service will put you on fish.

Fishing from Captain Tim's Evinrude 225 E-TEC powered 620 Ranger, it will be both a comfortable and exciting experience.
