The DNR does NOT do any stocking on this lake. The Lake property owners do cut weeds and they do chemical treatment of the weeds periodically during the summer to control them. (overseen by the DNR) Their concern is more for the boating on not necessarily the fishing. Due to the shallowness of the lake I suppose it is just a matter of time B/4 fishing heads downward.

Hello I am a regular at waterville lake its a great fishery! 4 the fishermen that love to fish waterville, but r sick of the disgruntled boaters that r totally dismissing the rights of the fishermen. here is just a reminder of boating rules 4 pwc: A pwc may not be operated at faster than slow-no-wake speed within:100ft of ANY other vessel. 100ft of a dock, pier,or restricted area on ANY lake.200ft of shore on ANY lake. If you r out on the lake and boaters r breaking rules call dnr tip line and let them know! 1-800-847-9367 thanks!
