I've never caught bass or northerns at the Millhome Flowage (the larger reservoir above the dam), but I do know there are many carp that stir up the bottom. The water visibility is extremely poor with thick sediments suspended throughout the water, which is compounded by the many rocks on the north face of the reservoir and their silt. At the base of the dam I've caught some northerns, however. The Sheboygan River, which is further upstream of Millhome Flowage, has better water quality and holds largemouths and northerns.
