Okauchee Lake

Went out friday for a few hours. Water temp was 54 to 56 depending on area. Weed growth is very low so far in my normal spots. Caught a few perch, a rock bass, a bluegill, and one tiny bass. It was good to get out but it'll be a few weeks til the water is warmer in my go to spots.

water temp 55 today got on at 0700 left at 1100  was musky fishing  saw nada very little weed growth water brownish in color from all the rain I guess  checked the usual crappie spots just to se if anything around as food for the ski's  did not see boo very few gills no bass no crappies I think the cold fronts pushed them back out   

Just wondering if anybody knows if the dock at the public launch is underwater, or if it's able to be used. I  checked 2 lakes yesterday and they were all submerged.

Went out for a few hours 4/10/26. Water was much warmer than anticipated. Fish were found very shallow in the 47 degree water. Caught a couple good ones lost a few good ones. They are moving up 

Fished yesterday for crappies. Checked all the historic spawning bays and only found a handfull in one. Lots of bluegills in all the bays, just need to sort through em. Still a little early

anybody been out for crappies yet this spring? couple of my go to lakes have been pretty slow or non existent.  thnx!

Ice in Stumpy bay is around 15". I drove out there last week Sunday. I would not drive past the Island though. That ice just looks different. Some perch caught but nothing big.

Haven’t seen any reports. Does anyone know how much ice is out in stumpy bay? Is there enough for driving out with a truck?

Hey all,
I’m heading to Okauchee this weekend. It’s my first time I’ve fished this lake. I’m not asking for places to fish.

I’m more concerned with places that are typically unsafe. Do they have this lake marked by trees or anything else?  Are there places to avoid?  I’ll be on an ATV.

Any info is appreciated.
