I was thinking the same thing about the big rock being in stone as i never saw anything in Sand.  Was going through the DNR website and saw common for LM and pike in Stone, so i was going to run up there and give it a shot.  We have gotten some smallies under piers in the past on Dam, but not enough to target them consistently.  Love the lake, but just wish I could find more bass and pike to target.  Thanks for the help!

Dang!   You’re right.    Stone Lake.     It should have been a no-brainer.🤪.  I never had much luck there either but nice crappies on the other lower lakes.

Carpio, I think the rock you’re talking about is on Stone lake.  Don’t waist your time on Stone.  Very few LMB in Dam ,  mostly small walleye.  Used to have good SMB under piers in summer.  Not sure if they’re still in there.  Just like the walleye, over harvesting.

My only suggestion would be use caution as there’s a huge boulder about 2’ down around the center of Sand Lake😱

We stay on Dam lake in July, and do well on crappies, but my son is older and wants to do more pike or bass fishing.  I know most of the spots on Dam, but would like to venture to other lakes on the chain if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.  Feel free to message me.
