The ice has been pretty stable, around 20". Some lakes in the area have had problems with cracks opening up (Moen, Pelican).
But I haven't seen anything like that on Boom. The slush near the landing may be the biggest problem there. Looks like we are getting another couple inches of snow today.

I stopped by the landing at Hodag Park. It doesn't look good. The new snow blew in here.  Lots of slush. Nobody driving out. Im sure the ice is still good. But may need to walk out.

Would really like some help on the ice conditions on Boom please.  My wife & I are driving up for a two day fishing adventure.  How thick is the ice and is anyone driving vehicles on the ice?  In our 60's so not a afraid to walk but if we don't have to would be nice.. Thank you kindly in advance
