Went this morning with my wife. Fished from 8 till noon, kept 22 gills. She out did me on fish and size, she had two at 9.5". The Mayfly's or Lake fly's whatever you call them were again out in force...sur glad they don't bite.
Carpio..she also got 3 bass looking better than that skinny one I got, LOL.

Fished this morning for gills. found some nice ones in the shallows. Not spawning yet but getting close. I fished till 11 until the wind really kicked up, instant white caps. I kept 14 fish and when I cleaned them they were filled with black bugs which I'm guessing were Mayfly's because they are out in force right now. Also caught a few accidental bass.
Just wondering if anyone would be willing to give me any insight on how Noquebay fishes for panfish and walleyes? Not familiar with the lake at all and curious how this lake sets up. Any information anyone would be willing to share with me I’d appreciate it. Feel free to PM me if you would rather do that. Thanks
Fishing this past weekend was certainly different. Tried for walleye on Friday night and instead found some vert hungry large crappie. They were biting as fast as you could unhook them and get the line back in the water. All caught on gold spoons and not tipped with anything. On Saturday we found some walleye. Not as fast as the crappie but still fun.
Walleye fishing was a bit light on Friday night but managed a few. Saturday was a little better with a few more. These warm temps make for nice late day fishing, but I think the walleye would be a bit more aggressive if the water temps would drop. Lake temps are 63 degrees, and the bays where it's shallow got up to 69 degrees . Looks warm for another week.
As expected after the Labor Day weekend noise on the lake and the lake and fish got too settle down, this past Friday was no disappointment for fishing. Started fishing at 3pm until dark. We caught plenty of willing and hungry walleye. Was a nice day on the water. More good days to come this fall.
