The lake has mostly small panfish. Gills mostly 6-7 inches and crappies 8-8 1/2 with one bigger on occasion.  Walleyes,  musky and bass can also be caught on tip-ups.

We fished it today…. Not impressed to say the least, this lake used to be fun to fish 15-20 yrs ago. The weeds are scattered throughout the lake everywhere where the depths are less than 15’. They arent good weeds that grow each season, theyre algae filled. The state better work on restocking and dredging otherwise its going to be musky fisherman and kayakers just like Wingra. Panfish average 3-5” at most. Bass average around 8-12” at best and the musky are scarce as well as the walleye. After 35 yrs of fishing, ive only caught 2 musky. And ive only caught 2 keeper walleyes. This lake as potential, but they need to worry more about the system and less about tourist and updating a kayak launch.
