Downstream? Do you mean the park that's NE of the bridge? (upstream) if so, I believe you can. I grew up there and we always did. You could give Wolf River Resort bait shop a call for confirmation I'd think. 

I am aware of the east and west fishing piers which require the purchase of either a day or season pass. However, does anyone know if shore fishing is permitted from the rocks in Waterfront Park just downstream of the bridge in town? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
