Was out with Ron on Friday and Saturday for some Walleye fishing, started out at Prides dam for a few hours but was slow. Moved up to the Mohawksin, fished a few spots and got a few shorts and end the day on lots of fish. Friday we had six keepers and Saturday had three and let a couple on the nice females go. Was a great time Ron and as always it was fun.   Thanks

I also posted earlier but it was deleted. Hotdog if you were there on Monday 3/15 I parked Mikes rigs and it’s on me if it wasn’t pulled up far enough. We had a good day fishing and I learned a lot not only about this body of water but other lakes as well! Thanks Mike!

Had Dan in the boat today, First time in 3 weeks and started out slow. Back trolled for 3 hours till the snow stopped and then the Walleyes started biting like crazy. No keepers trolling but after we anchored we got 6 nice ones casting 1/4 oz jig and fat heads dragged over the bottom. I have tomorrow open and a few days next week and more after that any one wants get out on the river.  Thanks Dan it was great as always, good time when your in the boat.

We tried a few colors and ?was the best, ended up catching at less 50 with 6 nice keepers and one nice pike. It was a good time guys.   Thanks

I should have been more clear with my question, I'm wondering how the fish taste from there.

We catch a lot of mud puppies in the Wisconsin downstream from there.  They are an indicator of very clean water as they do not survive well in polluted water.

Can someone  comment on how the fish are from this area as far as table fare. I'm just curious with it being right below  a paper mill. I've heard that the mills really cleaned up over the years and their discharge water is at least as clean as the intake, if not cleaner. Any feedback would be appreciated.
