Pretty sure they are common white suckers. The smaller males are better for pickling. Not sure about smoking.

What kind of suckers are these in stiles black or redhorse are they actually good smoked?

Suckers everwhere ! Can't say I've caught suckers by the mouth but had about 5 hooked in mouth today. Snagged about 20. 1 17" walleye

I think the walleye are almost spawned out n done. It will be quick this year water temp came up too fast.. suckers are in already n last few years they weren't till last week almost in April... But this 4 to 8 inches of snow coming Sunday into Monday May hold them in there longer if they don't spawn out before then.... Its gonna be a quick run this year unfortunately...

Just curious if there are any suckers in by the dam yet. Looking to get a few for the smoker. Figured they should be running by now in full swing.

Lost a pole a fishing last monday I think I left it by my truck it a st. Croix 7ft med light with a black and red Pflueger president reel 2017 edition

Fished most of the day despite the stinkin' chill!!! VERY SLOW but managed 3 males for the fryer 17, 17, 15 1/2 between the 4 of us!! Released a fat girl 23in!!
