Lake Michigan - Milwaukee Harbor

My evenings are free and id like to try evening fishing down by the lake.
How is it fishing in the evening behind summerfest and the the state park.
Does anyone fish here late towards dark, are there street lights, is it safe?
I believe that area is open untill 10:00 P.M.

lol   sorry had to sympathize with you I fished a northern port yesterday AM and with the stiff West wind in the AM i was darn near in tears within 10 minutes hands were stinging frozen I said wth am I out here!  lol got out of the wind in the sun and it was more enjoyable but did'nt catch much.

Tried fishing Saturday morning.  About 8 guys there.  Only took about 45 minutes for my hands to become so numb that I couldn't hold onto the fishing rod.  That being said it still beats watching fishing on TV.  BB

The warmer temperatures and rain are helping but there's no wind to blow this Fog and Ice out.
I'll do drive-bys when I can to keep this thread up to date.

Fished 1/5/13. Trolled the harbor, went 4-13. 1 bow 3 browns. the browns were around 7 -8 pounds and rainbow was around 6 pounds. They wanted gold spoons.

How's the trolling bite been?
