Thanks for the tips.  Grew up in ec and in my 45 years, never fished there, always spent my time fishing at the mouth of otter creek where it dumps into the river.

yup crawler on the bottom, is all I ever used.  Lots of snags.  Good that your not picky what you catch because it could be just about anything for sure.   Just stay the heck out of the water.  More than one person has been lost wading into clear a snag over the years.  

Hi all.  Looking to go below the Altoona dam.  Never fished below the dam before.  What do folks use?  Crawler on the bottom, or something else?  Not real picky bout what I catch
