Quiet on the reef today....several goats and a small Walleye. ....Carp extravaganza is in full swing everywhere in the bay if you're into that!!
Asylum Bay (Lake Winnebago), Winnebago County

We caught a couple bullheads by accident in the last week. In some channels.
Was there Saturday for about 3 hrs. Not even a nibble.
Any bullhead being caught yet?
Was wondering if this was a good place to find crappie now? Newer to the lake and just want to get on something different from the walleye. Feel free to pm me too! Thanks Jim
Drilled thru 3+ inches of corn, some good ice, but then the rest was tunneled from the bottom up. Fished the morning shift in 14 feet out by the crack. We did not cross the crack. One keeper perch between two guys. Nice day, a few other bites, but that was it. Hope the small army of guys way inside the bay did better.
Any ice reports? Don’t want to drive an hour if I can’t get on the ice
Bite was good last weekend for Perch and Gills, I would expect it to be the same or better this weekend.
First responders were assisting a guy had a heart attack on his way back off the ice. I've seen conflicting reports about his condition.
Drove to Asylum before work and there were three people out fishing. I couldn't figure out how they got out there because the shorelines are gone. Had my break at 7:00 p.m. and they were still out there. Maintenance worker came in about 7:45 p.m. and said there are many, many fire trucks, ambulances, and squad cars at Asylum. Praying for the best outcome.
