Deep Pond is located in Monroe County, New York. This lake is 28 acres in size. It is approximately 21 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch, Pumpkinseed.
Deep Pond, a unique glacially formed pond, has fairly steep sided, rocky shorelines which limit aquatic vegetation to shallow areas near the shoreline. These shallow areas contain a rich mixture of native aquatic plants.

Shoreline access within Monroe County's Mendon Ponds Park, located on NYS Route 65. There is a hand launch site on Douglas Road for Deep Pond.

ANGLING OPPORTUNITIES
There is Sunfish and Yellow Perch fishing through the ice when safe ice develops. Largemouth Bass, Chain Pickerel, Brown Bullhead, Sunfish, and Yellow Perch can be caught during the open water season. A spinnerbait or stickbait, like a rapala, works well in shallow weedy water, for the gamefish. For the panfish try worms fished under a bobber or small plastic tube baits or twister tails.
