History & Status of the Fishery
North Drywood Lake is a 407 acre lake located approximately 14 miles northwest of Appleton MN in Swift County. No public access exists to the lake and recent fisheries management activities have been limited to population assessments. Although the lake is shallow, turbid, and prone to winterkill, 13 species of fish were caught during this assessment and the lake provides valuable fish habitat.
