Probably on of the most beautiful lake in the U.P. but the fishing can be fickle. One day you can load the boat and the next day you can't buy a bite. The boat ramp is great and has a loading dock. The lake has an abundance of structure and cover. Most of the lake is rock and as far as cover there is a lot of standing timber and both emergent weeds and submerged weeds, lots of protected bays. Boaters should be very careful there are several rocks and tree stumps just under the surface depending on lake levels.

We went there and camped and didn't want to leave. Quiet and just beautiful. Fishing was poor because not spawning yet but we sure will go back there. Just a beautiful place.

Very picturesque 'lake', with some rocky cliff-like shoreline areas and lots of woods. A real beauty in the fall with a nice mix of colored maples, pines and birch. Fishing is moody as any lake in MI is, great for pike, walleye, bass, and panfish. Some large gills are known to be had in the mighty Greenwood reservoir. I've camped for years on suitable shorline clearings throughout, not just islands. Have yet to see bear or hear wolves though.
