This lake is part of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and protected so that motorized boats are not allowed. It has a good supply of largemouth bass almost all of which are in the 10-14 inch range. In fact, you would think you are catching the same fish again and again. There are some smaller bluegills and perhaps some pike but I have never seen one. The lake is fairly shallow with a maximum depth of about 15 feet. The fish move into the deeper water as the summer progresses. You will probably encounter some loons and often see eagles above. Very nice spot for a quiet day on the lake with a canoe or kayak.
