Fished Clements Barge on Monday May 13. Gorgeous day out there. 30 folks or so fishing from barge and shore. Slow action. Sturgeon, bass, sheeps, pike and some gillies are what I saw caught. I got sheeps and bass and one pike that laughed at me when it bit through my mono line. Late spring fishing. Water was a bit high but not bad. Saw one sauger caught in the 3 hours I fished.

Fished on Clements Barge on Monday 4/15.  Caught 9 nice perch, 8 nice bluegills,. a few suckers and 1 dog fish with several throwback small ones.  Small mouth bass were spawning on wing dam by barge and I observed at least 40 caught with most of them returning to the river.  A great day and a great cheeseburger there.

I fished it Sunday and Monday.  I only caught one short walleye Sunday and zilch Monday morning.  Only fish I saw caught on the barge were Smallies and a couple white bass or crappie.  Monday there were only 2 other boats fishing below the dam when we launched at 7am, that's a pretty good sign they are done.....

Fished from boat on Friday. Did not see many fish caught. Fished for 8 hours 10A-6P Got 7 perch 6 females all full of eggs. Just enough for the 2 of us to have a meal.. Threw the rest back. Small Crawlers on a bare hook with weight 12-18" above hook. Very light bite.

Obviously the perch have not spawned  yet. I doubt the walleyes have either.
