Been out on Sugema for couple days now 8 to 10 inches of ice but still would watch for were the geese had open water. But the bluegill and crappie have been really active jigging waxy and hooked in some nice bass with minnows on dead stik. Hope nobody gets wet this year and stays safe.

Been fishing a pond that runs into the lake, water is real clear. havent had enough rain to mud up the lake. Bluegills&bass are rite on shore. Crappies are a little deeper, think they spawned already. The lake is usally a week or 2 behind this pond. Lots of boats in town&at the campground so somebodys getting out. Been doing good on white twister tail jigs. KB
