Interior river levels remain low and anglers have been taking a few walleye. There have few reports on Brinker, Big Woods and Casey lakes in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area for panfish and bass. Trout streams are low and clear across northeast Iowa so consider fishing during low light conditions and approach streams carefully to avoid disturbing wild fish. For further information contact your nearest local bait shop

Anglers are having success on bluegill, largemouth bass and channel catfish on Hickory Hills Lake.

Bluegill - Good: Fish a small jig with a piece of crawler under a slip bobber at various depths to locate fish.

Largemouth Bass - Fair: Anglers have been catching bass on most everything thrown at them; spinner and crankbaits.

Channel Catfish - Good: Mornings and evenings have been best for channel catfish.
