Tampier Lake

I forgot to write "go to the dam and follow the old creek channel back up stream."  It's the deepest water there and it's only about 8 feet deep at the most.

Since you have a Kayak start by the dam on the south side of 131st St. and follow it back up stream.  Most of the fish tend to hang around there because of the depth, temperature (especially this time of years), and the current if there is any.    

2 hours on kayak yesterday morning, throwing crank bait, plastic worm, spinner, spoon, and jig with twister produced only one tiny yellow bass.  I mostly worked the 131st street shoreline.  I was the only boat I saw - several shore fishermen.  Anybody else having better luck there?
