Plainfield/Joliet ice report for February 25th

Shore bound I was fishing open water last Saturday and Sunday after the rain in Shorewood, scary part is my wife saw a bunch of kids on the ice today be safe out there I’m guessing without punching a hole maybe 2.5-3 if we’re lucky?

I checked neighborhood ponds from the southside of Plainfield to the southside of Shorewood and down to the strip pits around Wilmington.  I did not find any safe ice anywhere.
