Ice was measuring between 5-6” on the north end of the lake. fishing was slow
26° - 30° F
It does thanks. We're gonna try tomorrow morning.
Smallies, I’m on the north end of the lake Wednesday and the ice was measured 5-6” in all my holes. Was on the south west end of the lake on Sunday last week and good 4” then! Seen a snowmobile out then too. Hope it helps
4 inches but there are 2 open holes out in front of the boat launch off grand av and out in middle
you can park at Jack and Lydias, pay the small fee and access the lake from there.
Nature boy, where did you access deep lake? New to the lake and will take any info I can get. I live on the north shore. Thanks
How thick was the ice?
36° - 40° F
Hit deep today with a buddy today we fished from 9am til 3 or so we caught a bunch of gills and a few crappie. All fish caught in wéeds around 7ft deep . the trick was to fish the bottom 2 feet of weeds. Small jigs and plastic or 2 spikes.
36° - 40° F
Fished Sunday 12 - sunset, slow day ended up with 5 between 7.5 - 8.5", wax worm tungsten jig, nothing on plasitcs. Windy, had to sit in shanty or it would blow away which made it difficult to move around. Saw another group pull a +35" northern out, released.
Ice estimated @ 10" with water on top. We'll see what rain does to shoreline, may try to get out in AMWednesday
