Hunted SE WI sat and sun,   sat am did see more geese than there has been with the wind it was hard to get them to finish, not much for ducks other than a few flocks in the grey light, yesterday a bit better saw a few more ducks but no real opportunity at them and less geese than sat but with lighter winds they lit better and we scratched out a few, fun weekend. There was a push of birds hopefully they will keep trickling down.

goodhuntin all!

How do you guys typically eat your ducks and geese? I'm assuming someone has a few good recipes?
Thank you

Hunted last two days. Managed a limit today and two on Saturday. Probably would have done better Saturday but was set up close to two other hunters that I had no idea were there. They had all sorts of shooting. Moved to the more open part of lake and scratched out two. Hunted the same spot today and was the only one out there banging.😊

Shot limits of woodies every day from the opener to Thursday but never had any other ducks come in.I am satisfied with what I got because other guys got skunked.

Big push of birds with this cold front. Woodies, Teal, Mallards. Lots of shooting this AM in Dunn County. Should only get better this weekend.

Birds are loafing all day leaving near dark to feed.  This morning they came back between 9-10, brought some ducks with them.  We guess about 200 geese, Teal and Mallards joined them for the day.

Got a wood duck today.  Had seven geese come over low, but passed on them.
