Where's the ammo

Has anyonr else moticed that while Wall- Mart took the high road, and won’t sell the evil .556/.223 they do have (at least in Marshfield) .350 legend a plenty as well as .450

Just shows how inept and out of touch the ammo buyers are. 

Scheels EauClaire, decent selection. Saw some 270wsm for the first time in a long time. $57 box. Not happening.

Lots of ammo at fleet farm in Stevens point today.

Just got  back from Scheels in Appleton mall.  Lots of 380, 357, 44 mag.  The rifle section had 270, 308, 7mm-o8.  They even had about ten boxes of 280 Rem!!  They now have abnout 8 boxes of it.

Dunhams in Green Bay has 357 and 44 agnum.  About 10 or so boxes of each.  Lots of 380 and even 5.7 x28.

Most likely BRASS cased.

Was in Walmart lacrosse today.

 Took a wrong turn and ended up in the ammo aisle. 28 gauge lead birdshot was only present. 

I don't really bother anymore. Make the shots count I guess. 

Got online ammo ads yesterday with no price inreases. Actually some prices lower. Fleet in Germantown had trap loads last week when I was there.

And trapshooting loads virtually nowhere to be found.....

Stopped by fleet farm today. Always swing by ammo to see what is there. Associate stopped over and said ‘if you are thinking about ammo, do it today. Prices are going up significantly monday’. Nice of her to let those of us browsing know. 

Stopped at 2 Dunhams in the Milwaukee area and they have shelves full of handgun ammo, especially 9mm.  50 count boxes (Blazer, Winchester,..) are about $24.   500 ct, Remington 22 Thunders are about $50.  There was a fairly good supply of rifle ammo but the prices are really high  (Remington Core Lock 20 ct box of 270 & 308 are $35-45)

Cabelas in GB had 44 Magnum on 3/25 for 32.99 a box of 20 (I believe it was a 20 round box).  They had 8 boxers of the stuff.  I was looking for 357 for my son.  They did have plenty of 38 Special in steel case and Hornady Self Defense loads.  

They also had tons of 9, 556 and 7.82 x 39 - almost all Russian stuff. 

I usually bought n at 8 -9 a box . Now it's mostly super expensive self defense loads or steel cased Russian  .

Mm - 350 legend and 300 blackout are two that I see a disproportionate amount of. 

Starting to wonder if I should have done something different then build an AR in 6.5 Grendel. Have some steel and 2 boxes of non steel so far. Cannot bring myself to pay shipping on top of the high prices.

$7.99 bx was more then 2 years ago.

I've seen 17.00 bx recently and paid 15.00 bx when I bought a new 9mm.

I reload so shelf price means nothing to me.
