What old fishing shows did everyone watch ,like or dislike.

I  remember watching Billy Westmoreland's fishing diary, Tony Dean and bunch of other shows.

Anyone remember Joe Schillinger?  This was probably 35 years ago already.  My brother used to call him "Joe Sh*tslinger"

In-fisherman, Midwest Outdoors, most of them have turned into infomercials and are just trying to sell you something.

As others have already mentioned, I enjoyed the original Babe Winkleman fishing show, InFisherman (when Lindners were involved), and I also remember watching Virgil Ward as a kid.  I still remember that theme song...."From the lakes of northern Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. ....wherever fish are biting, that's where we're gonna go.  There's a lot of exciting country, just waitin to be explored....so join us now in the great outdoor... world of Virgil Ward."

When I was a kid I loved the Stan Bran show.  Outdoor calling.  I used to fish with an older gentleman in Canada many years ago who was the host of the lucky 13 fishing show.   I never got to see show,  must have been a small market.  I think he said out of Eau Claire or Superior.  I can't remember.

Loved that on rod and reel streamside he would sometimes catch 1 or 2 fish. It was a real fishing show the way it really happens.

Nobody mentioned Bill Dunce and all of the fake falling in the water clips from his past shows.. would have been good on All-Star Wrestling

Inn-Fisherman guys seemed to put out the most informative shows/movies, older ones at any rate..

Jimmy Houston wasn't any better than the rest of them at catching fish...but I think he had the most fun doing it....

The best shows are where they teach you something.   Some shows they are just trying sell products.

Yes, Fond memories of American Sportsman and Outdoors Calling.

You had Charlie Brand, Stans father, like Pete Manna and his dad Tex.

Don't thow it back, I wanna eat that.

I wish Me TV would bring Outdoors Calling back on.

I have a Brother to this day still quotes (I think) Jerry McKinnis.

"The fish were biting and we were taking them"
