Who's got one ? what are you growing ? and how's it coming along? Mine consists of sweet corn , cabbage , brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli ,cucumbers, zucchini, peas, tomatoes , peppers , acorn squash, pumpkins, and assorted spices. The cold wet weather hasn't been very conducive to good growth so far for me. But with warmer weather in the forecast things should turn out. I hope those of you growing fair better.

Built a garden table and gate to keep the chickens out. I had high hopes of building a nice live edge table with a stainless steel sink and run water out to it to wash veggies before bringing in, but after 3 years of using a cattle panel to keep the chickens out it was time to at least build something lol. It'll due for now.
Haven't tilled in 4yrs. It sure is easier though! Been hand flipping and yanking weeds and grass roots by hand. Every year gets noticeably better though. Need to put up some basic edging.
All plants have taken to the new soil and they're just starting to take off. Nice to watch the difference everyday now with regular watering.
I do have a little garden Weasel I run down the rows occasionally, but I hardly call that tilling. Lol

Speaking of, I just picked up 50# of bone meal today. Most that will be going on my potatoes.
Also grabbed 10# of blood meal, I'll give the peppers and tomatoes a nice dosing of that before shifting to a lower nitrogen higher potassium fertilizer.
Finally a little snack from the garden, which my son ate most of lol

Got my pole bean trellis strung up.
Actually, nitrogen promotes the above ground top growth. Phosphorus and potassium make the roots grow big. People who put too much nitrogen on their lawns have weak root systems that leave the grass prone to certain diseases. I used to have a lawn maintenance company back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

I finally have one garden fully planted, plus my buckets and grow bags that are on the grill patio. In the one garden I have 8 tomato plants, 5 pepper plants, a couple rows of lettuce, couple rows of onions, and 2 rows of potatoes. My newest garden has 3 rows of onions, 4 cucumber plants, and a row of carrots. Still quite a few things left to plant and I haven't even started green beans yet!
